As we continue to expand our operations in our brand new Fruit and Vegetable Distribution Centre in Geldermalsen, we are seeking a passionate Fruit & Vegetables Inbound Coordinator to make sure we have our full Fruits & Vegetables assortment available for customers in the most efficient way.
You are the linking pin between the commercial team, operations and suppliers. You know what customers want, understand seasonal patterns and trends in demand. You translate commercial plans into concrete actions and ensure high product availability, optimal freshness and minimal waste. In the constantly changing world of fruits and vegetables you navigate the complexity of seasonal switches, demand peaks and supply shortages. With data-driven analyses you find opportunities to improve our quality of service. When the market gets challenging, you switch gears and work with internal and external stakeholders to find immediate solutions. You are in charge of one of the most important parts of our assortment: a unique opportunity to make a huge difference every day!
What you'll do
Coordination: coordination of the daily performance of the Fruit and Vegetable category while ensuring the best quality of service to Picnic customers.
Supplier management: Remaining in constant contact with suppliers to ensure the best quality of service for Fruit and Vegetables, while retaining low waste numbers.
Stakeholder management: Streamline commercial and operational plans into coherent execution; be the linking pin between all teams that determine the success of the category
Incident management: Flexibility with solving ad-hoc availability issues related to rejection of produce due to quality control criteria
About you
0-2 years experience, it is considered a plus if you have experience in the supply chain field
Fluency in Dutch and English
Available fulltime
Working hours Monday to Friday (office hours)
Availability to work in DC5 in Geldermalsen, with regular visits to our office in Amsterdam and other Fulfillment Centers across the country
Data driven: you are comfortable using Google Sheets and you want to verify every claim with solid data

You are able to build relationships with suppliers while being strict when this is needed.
