Warehouse Logistics Industrial Engineering (Senior) Specialist
We are looking for an Industrial Engineering (Senior) Specialist with proven experience in Warehouse Logistics to join our Industrial Engineering team based in Roermond/Venlo,NL.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you are a self-starter that possesses strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving techniques. You also have high integrity and accountability standards. In developing and delivering of cost-effective solutions you exercise leadership to continuously enhance the organizational performance, to improve operational profit.
What you’ll do
- Productivity and workflow analysis including work measurements with subsequent design and implementation of staffing plans. Process re-engineering and productivity improvement to align operational needs with business requirements.
- Working on implementing and improving automation within the warehouses as Autostore and Locus.
- Creation and distribution of automated productivity and quality reports. Trend analysis in support of operational management.
- Compliance with operational plans, procedures, customer requirements, quality goals, service levels, inventory accuracy and performance standards.
- Implementation of job specific training for operations staff including ongoing training, education and development on procedures and guidelines.
- Take the lead in managing layout changes, developing new layouts for customer implementations, retention projects, and reconfigurations, in close collaboration with all stakeholders.
What you’ll need
- Essential: Over 3 years of proven experience in Warehouse Logistics operations
- Essential: Educated to at least BA or BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, related engineering.
- Driven self-starter with strong organizational skills and project analysis experience with proven track record.
- Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Access, AutoCAD, PowerBI and Sketchup are a plus.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and conceptual skills; logical thinker
- High degree of accuracy; eye for detail; accountable
- Cross-functional communication & relationship building skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of any other European language is an asset.
