We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Architect to bring your expertise in campus networking and data centre design to our dynamic team. This freelance role offers the opportunity to collaborate with expert architects, business analysts, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve core ICT infrastructure, including storage, virtualisation, and operating systems.
- Define and maintain network architecture, encompassing WAN, LAN, telephony, and connectivity solutions.
- Develop architectures for mobility and remote access, ensuring they meet stringent security standards.
- Specify components, lead product selection, and oversee implementation and configuration guidance.
- Author and update technical standards, guidelines, and architectural documentation.
- Support project execution with frameworks such as Prince II or SCRUM, providing strategic advisory input during complex incidents.
Requirements:
- University degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a 4-year degree with at least 9 years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an Infrastructure Architect role.
- Experience encompassing at least three of the following areas:
- - Data Centre Infrastructure Design
- - Network Design
- - Enterprise Storage Design
- - Backup/Archiving Design
- - Disaster Recovery Design
- - Technical proficiency in data centre, campus, and metro networking, server virtualisation, and enterprise storage.
- Desirable skills include Archimate, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), cryptographic processes, and DevOps.

Pay: €550,00 - €720,00 per day
