Description of assignment
Vanderlande Site Managers are responsible for the installation of material handling systems, but they are also responsible for managing the health and safety of the people.
Supportive tooling will help them to do this more effective and efficient. The assignment is to build a tool (low code) that:
- Is used to check in / out workers on site, by holding a QR code in front a smart camera / tabloid. To know who is or is not on site in case of emergency situation and to log the worked hours.
- Support the Site Manager to manage site inductions, by sending induction videos to workers or guests and log who has completed the induction and is ready to visit the site.
Department description
Global Operations Airports is a small department of 6 Process Improvement Managers that support the business by exploring and developing opportunities for the business on a global scale.
You will work together with other team members on your own assignment. To carry out this assignment, you will also collaborate with other departments, such as IT, the Academy, and the Installation teams.
Tasks/responsibilities
You are asked to deliver a tested prototype of a App including a short manual / training material and a recommendation on how to proceed.
Your profile
- Familiar with building apps with low code, technical. Support can be given, but self-starter is required.
- Understand business processes.
- Good communicator, able to connect easy with people from (other) departments.
- *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
