Who are we?
U-Boat Worx is based in The Netherlands, and was founded in 2005. Since its inception the company has become the world’s largest submersible manufacturer. U-Boat Worx offers high-end exploration submersibles ranging from 2-person to 9-person models, available in depth-ratings ranging from 100 meters up to 3,000 meters. The submersibles make use of the latest advancements in technology to provide clients – who include super yacht owners, research organizations, offshore companies and high-end tourist operators – with the best available submersible for their requirements.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for making sure that our submersibles become even better known to our target markets. You will work closely with the marketing director to create creative digital content. You’ll be in charge of guarding our brand copy through compelling story telling.
Who are you?
You are ambitious, have completed a higher education, and preferably have several years’ work experience in marketing and communication. You have an affinity with the underwater world, technology and an understanding of the maritime industry, and are capable of working independently. The Junior Digital Content Creator conceptualizes, designs, develops and executes 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for internal projects and client needs.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the marketing director to produce high-quality visual content that brings our submersibles and brand story to life;
- Create compelling 2D and 3D visual assets for use across web, social media, presentations, events, and campaigns;
- Contribute to the creative process by participating in brainstorms, concept development, and content planning meetings;
- Manage and deliver projects from concept to final export, ensuring deadlines and creative standards are met;
- Translate complex technical information into engaging visual narratives that resonate with our audiences;
- Support ad hoc creative requests and special projects that align with our brand goals.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related creative field;
- 1 to 5 years of experience producing digital content, including animation, motion graphics, or video;
- Available for part-time to full-time work (4–5 days per week);
- Strong proficiency in Adobe cloud software, and particularly Adobe After Effects;
- A solid understanding of design principles including layout, typography, and color theory;
- Confident video editing skills and experience working with dynamic visual storytelling;
- Working knowledge of 3D software (Cinema 4D or similar is a plus);
- Ability to deliver both still and motion content of high visual and creative quality;
- A versatile and well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative styles;
- Ability to maintain organized, easy-to-navigate project files for internal use;
- A creative thinker who enjoys turning technical or niche subjects into clear, captivating content;
- Strong collaboration skills to align with the marketing director, sales team, and other stakeholders.
