Your Impact as a Senior Azure Cloud Solution Architect
As a Senior Azure Cloud Solution Architect, you play a key role in translating Achmea's change calendar into innovative and feasible solutions within the dynamic Azure foundation. These solutions are focused on an advanced hybrid Cloud environment, and you work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including product managers, Cloud engineers, domain architects and others within the Achmea IT organization.
Your Responsibilities
• Leadership in Content: You are the driving force behind the substantive discussions and act as the primary point of contact for all parties involved.
• Dialogue with the Client: You are in constant dialogue with the client about their issues and solutions, whereby you closely monitor the possibilities and consequences of technology choices.
• Solution Design: You are responsible for drawing up, maintaining and publishing the solution design within the framework of the enterprise and domain architecture.
• Translation of Complexity: You translate complex issues into clear and understandable solutions for all stakeholders, so that the Product Owner is able to plan the work efficiently and successfully manage the realization.
• Advice and Guidance: You provide valuable advice, facilitate management decision-making and guide the Azure team, ensuring the substantive quality of the solutions.
Your Profile

• You are a communicative and analytical professional who is able to translate architecture principles to various stakeholders at all levels within the organization. With a keen eye for interests, you make well-considered choices.
• You develop and implement the architecture policy and advise on complex issues based on specialist expertise, experience and knowledge.
• You have the talent to simplify complex issues and can clearly and convincingly articulate concepts and advice.
• You continuously follow the latest technological developments in the field of Azure and are able to effectively transfer this knowledge.
• You maintain the overall overview and take responsibility for a scalable design of the Azure Cloud foundation, together with a team of developers and specialists.
• You have experience in setting up a solid Azure Cloud foundation for an Enterprise organization based on best practices and the latest technologies.
• You are able to create an Azure Cloud architecture design based on customer requirements, including the associated security baselines.
• You provide guidance at the architectural level in the design and implementation of the detailed solution.
• You have knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud and Azure VMware Solutions setups. You support Solution Architects in other domains with your knowledge and expertise in the field of setup choices and digital transitions.
Your Competencies and Background
• You have a relevant HBO+/WO education.
• You have obtained a Microsoft Azure Architect certification.
• You have experience in a similar senior position or at least 5+ years of relevant work experience as a solution architect.
• You are analytically strong, result-oriented and stress-resistant.
• You are autonomous, decisive and connecting in your approach.
• Preferably you have experience with Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), DYA and TOGAF.
