Logistics Planner

As a Logistics Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient coordination of transportation, warehouse operations, and order management. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and carriers to streamline processes and optimize logistical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process customer orders efficiently.
- Plan and coordinate transport operations with carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with the warehouse team regarding stock levels and inventory management.
- Accurately book and update shipments in the system to track progress and resolve any discrepancies.
- Supervise and support planning team members, ensuring fair workload distribution, backup scenarios, and effective team collaboration.
- Monitor daily logistics capacity to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct monthly cost closing and financial reporting related to logistics operations.
- Prepare and analyze weekly or monthly reports to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Maintain relationships and coordinate with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written communication skills are essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and present findings effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to think innovatively and contribute to process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Preferred Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar logistics or supply chain planning role.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
- A strong team player with a collaborative and solution-driven mindset.
- A professional with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
