We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Long Form Video Editor to join our in-house team full-time. You’ll play a key role in shaping high-quality video content for YouTube and other platforms, combining cinematic storytelling with motion graphics and sharp editing. With strong skills in both Dutch and English, and deep expertise in Premiere Pro and After Effects, you’ll help us set a new standard for long-form content.
What You’ll Do
- Long Form Video Editing
- Edit podcasts, documentaries, and long-form YouTube content into engaging, cinematic formats
- Ensure pacing, structure, and storytelling are sharp and audience-focused
- Apply strong color grading, sound design, and motion graphics integration
- Motion Graphics & Visual Identity
- Create custom motion graphics and animations to elevate storytelling
- Design graphics that match the brand identity and boost viewer retention
- Integrate subtitles, overlays, and data visuals where relevant
- Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative director and producers to translate ideas into final edits
- Provide input on storyboards, scripts, and creative direction
- Bring fresh editing concepts, transitions, and formats to the table
- Content Optimization
- Edit with platform-specific retention strategies in mind
- Craft intros, hooks, and pacing that maximize watch time
- Implement feedback quickly and maintain consistency across projects
- High-Level Execution
- Deliver projects under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Maintain an organized editing workflow for future scalability
- Balance creativity with precision to meet high client expectations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in long-form video editing (YouTube, documentary, podcasts, or similar)
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Skilled in motion graphics, storytelling, and cinematic editing
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken & written)
- Eye for detail and obsession with high-quality output
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, creative environment
Bonus
- Experience in color grading (DaVinci Resolve or similar)
- Background in cinematography or creative direction
- Portfolio with long-form content that reached strong engagement
