Role Summary:
Are you passionate about social media, online trends, and digital storytelling? Do you enjoy writing, researching, and creating eye-catching visuals? We are looking for a motivated and digitally savvy young professional to support our social media and online research efforts in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B content, social media marketing, and creative design within a vibrant, global technology company. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Job Scope/Supervision

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design and execution of social media content streams and campaigns.
- Create and manage weekly/monthly editorial calendars.
- Write engaging copy tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Help to design and produce visual content (e.g., banners, carousels, infographics, short-form videos).
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics to identify trends and optimize strategies.
- Conduct online research and media monitoring to track industry trends, competitor activities, key influencers, and relevant news or conversations.
- Brainstorm and pitch ideas for original content and engagement strategies.
- Assist with live and virtual event promotion.
- Support employee advocacy programs by curating and distributing shareable content.
- Contribute to social selling initiatives by identifying and supporting execution of relevant content and engagement opportunities for sales teams.
- Support consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
- Contribute to broader marketing and communications initiatives as needed.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
What we are looking for:
- Active and confident user of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
- Exposure to marketing through coursework, internships, or student-led initiatives.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.
- Strong interest in technology, digital communication, and content creation.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Creative eye for visual storytelling and layout.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic design/editing platforms.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
- Currently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

- Occasional Travel to GTT Amsterdam office
