The role
Our client is building something bigand they are looking for driven, hands-on people to help make it happen. To support their fast growth in Europe, our client is looking for a Marketing & Events Manager whos ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and get things done.Youll be responsible for designing and executing smart, well-aligned strategies that support the brand positioning and ambitious growth goals. Youll take the lead on the marketing and events strategy and identify the most relevant industry events, conferences, and potential speaking opportunities that match the mission.
You will know which collaborations, events, and campaigns can make the right impact and can deliver a solid return on investment. In this role you'll work closely with the local EU commercial country teams to boost visibility, generate leads, and turn the brand into a force for good in the energy space. Together with the commercial team leads, you will ensure everything is perfectly aligned and in place; this role is the perfect blend of strategic and hands-on execution. Whether its trade shows, roundtables, webinars or sustainability innovation days: you make sure the company stands out, and ensure it inspires.
What youll do
- Build and run the strategic international marketing and events; both strategically and ensure a flawless execution by the local commercial teams;
- Identify the right opportunities (events, fairs, conferences, speaking slots) in close collaboration with the local commercial teams;
- Collaborate with the commercial teams to align marketing with market entry, product rollouts, and partnerships;
- Manage A-to-Z campaigns that combine meaningful brand awareness with commercial results;
- Build strong relationships with event organizers, agencies, etc;

What you bring - 3+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in a startup / scale-up / high-growth environment;
- You love to make it happen and like to work both strategically and hands-on;
- A natural project manager with an eye for detail and ready for action;
- Strong project management skills; you're organized, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic, international setting;
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- Above all: you are proactive, positive, and passionate about making a real difference.
