What tasks can you expect with us?
- You play a key role in implementing the global procurement strategy in the Netherlands
- You challenge procurement requests and offers to be compliant and achieve the necessary service level / quality for the best price
- You are responsible for ordering materials and services for all our subsidiaries
- You create purchase orders in SAP after you received the request via JIRA or email
- You conduct tenders and challenge existing relationships which were not negotiated so far
- You are the local focal point for all employees regarding their purchasing needs in our Amsterdam office
- You collaborate in an international environment with colleagues from Germany and Bulgaria as your teammates in Global Procurement
- You collect local demands and support the strategic guidelines to find global suppliers
- You constantly improve the processes to provide the best possible procurement experience to all employees
What do we want from you?
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Initial experience in procurement, vendor management, or financial services
- Understanding of procurement processes within a regulated industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to support vendor due diligence and risk assessments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player with willingness to learn and grow in a highly regulated environment
- Confident use of Atlassian Suite (JIRA + Confluence)
- Very good written and spoken English
