About the roleWe are looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Owner to lead the 0-to-1 development of AI-powered applications, focusing on Generative AI and Agentic systems. You will drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for our cutting-edge AI solutions, focusing on building scalable, innovative, and user-centric AI products that leverage the latest advances in machine learning, natural language processing, Generative AI and autonomous agents.As a critical member of the Prosus AI product team, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to bring next-generation AI products to market.
Key responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for GenAI and agent-based applications.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals, user needs, and technological opportunities.
- Continuously assess industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify innovative opportunities.
- Advocate for AI-first approaches to solving business and user problems.
Product Development and Execution
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders to maximize business value and user impact.
- Work closely with applied AI researchers and engineering teams to ensure the feasibility, scalability, and ethical implementation of AI models and agents.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive, engaging, and responsible AI-powered user experiences.
- Guide the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features, from ideation to delivery and iteration, ensuring high-quality releases.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, communicating product vision, plans, and progress.
- Gather, refine, and prioritize feedback from internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Evangelize AI products internally and externally, articulating the value and innovation they bring to users.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define and monitor success metrics (KPIs) to track product performance and inform future iterations.
- Leverage A/B testing, user research, and data analytics to validate assumptions and optimize product features.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI guidelines, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Key Qualifications Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager in technology-driven environments, with at least 2 years focused on AI or Machine Learning products.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies (LLMs, Diffusion Models, etc.) and Autonomous Agent architectures (RAG, Agentic workflows, Tool-using agents).
- Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with AI researchers and engineers (understanding of concepts such as model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, vector databases, etc.).
- Experience delivering customer-facing AI applications with measurable business impact.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying LLMs and generative AI applications.
- Background in computer science, data science, or related technical fields.
- Familiarity with responsible AI practices and AI ethics frameworks.
- Experience with rapid prototyping tools for AI applications.
