We have a vacancy for a Researcher animal health and natural ingredients (24 – 32 hours a week).
Our projects involve developing and improving analytical methods for growth promotors and veterinary drugs in a variety of different matrices. We enjoy the new challenging projects regarding food and feed safety, for example in relation to the circular economy, climate change and new protein sources. An essential part of our work is therefore being able to perform research and analyze traditional and new food and feed materials. We do this for, among others, national surveillance plans.

What will you be doing
In the role as Researcher you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyse feed safety in the field of (new) natural ingredients applied in animal husbandry;
- Participate in research projects on a wide range of topics;
- Shared responsibility for designing and preparation of animal experiments;
- Analyse, interpret, report and discuss results with customers, experts and project teams, including advice for next steps.

- At least an MSc degree related to animal health sciences, animal sciences, veterinary sciences, including knowledge about animal feed and natural ingredients;
- Sufficient experience in successful acquisition, initiating innovation and develop project proposals. Please mention this in your resume and motivational letter;
- Contacts in relevant national and international networks that are useful for this position;
- Article 9 certified (legal qualified to perform animal experiments) is a plus;
- Experience in analytical chemistry, ISO17025, statistics and data analysis is a plus;
