A Day in the Life

This supply chain function offers the exciting opportunity to gain broad experience in our core supply
chain processes (supply and demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing &
distribution) while simultaneously spending a significant amount of your time on cross-functional

You will be in direct contact with virtually all other functional areas, and you will be exposed to a wide
variety of topics from new product introductions to production planning & scheduling, meaning that
no single day will be the same. You feel responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, you organize overview and control, and feel pride in ensuring that the rest of the organization can count on you.
You are a high potential who is eager to learn and grow and you are at your best when working with
other people. You are hands-on, reliable, accurate, structured and committed to deliver results. Your
analytical, planning and communication skills are excellent, and you have the ability to deal with
details without losing sight of the big picture. You listen to others, but are not afraid to share your

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Organize, overview and control, and feel pride in ensuring that the rest of the organization can count on you
- Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution
- Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers
- Plans and analyses activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production and R&D materials
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, Operations Research or similar
- 3-5 years of work experience in a relevant (supply chain) function and/or industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) in Dutch and English and comfortable to work in an international environment
- Proficient with MS Office.
