About Us
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.
Your mission
Move fast, break things, and build them better the next day. You’ll be the go-to person on the shop floor—leading integration, wiring, mechanical assembly, and test prep across a series of high-speed UAS platforms and kinetic systems.
This role isn’t just about turning spanners—it’s about owning the build–test–iterate loop, working side-by-side with engineers, and driving quality and speed in equal measure.
Responsibilities
Lead the hands-on assembly, integration, and maintenance of fixed-wing UAS and experimental airframes.
Own mechanical fit-up, harness routing, servo setup, propulsion integration, and final prep for flight.
Guide junior technicians and support team ramp-up for multiple concurrent builds.
Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or failure modes—and help fix them for good.
Support ground checks, pre-flight inspections, and post-flight maintenance cycles.
Maintain build logs, configuration notes, and test readiness status with the engineering team.
Help shape the workshop environment—tooling, workflow, safety, and documentation.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with UAS assembly, preferably in startup, R&D, or fast-paced prototyping environments.
Proven ability to support rapid iteration cycles—build, fly, fix, repeat.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and system-level integration skills.
Experience with flight control systems, servos, RC systems, and wiring best practices.
Confident using hand tools, adhesives, fabrication gear, and general workshop equipment.
Able to read basic mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and interpret engineering intent.
Team player, fast problem-solver, and process improver.
Bonus: Experience with composite repair, propulsion installation, or autonomous systems.
