Key responsibilities of your role
- As a EU Sourcing Analyst, you will take on a dynamic role where you:
- Combine skills in own brand (OB) & national brand (NB) sourcing, stakeholder management, data analytics and project management
- Further develop OB/NB collaboration between our brands across Europe
- Initiate and take ownership of international own-brand sourcing assortment, in close cooperation with local brand buyers to drive sourcing synergies
- Manage multiple OB sourcing tenders - dive into costs, sustainability topics, supplier landscapes and product compositions
- Engage in strategic sparring and bring fresh ideas to improve our tender processes & tooling
- Analyze data, compare products, and support with documentation
- Prepare content for EU management meetings
Your new work environment
You will work closely with colleagues in sourcing, merchandising, sustainability, and quality—at both the European and brand level. You’ll also team up with our international sourcing partner AMS. As we go through change, you’ll encounter resistance at times and good stakeholder management is important. You know how to ask the tough questions and translate your findings into proposals for product and supplier improvements across Europe.
You’ll join the European Sourcing team, which is organized by region (Benelux and Central Southeast Europe) and product category (Fresh, Own Brands, National Brands). You’ll report to the Director EU Sourcing OB/NB Benelux.

Requirements
- We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience, Master’s degree or higher professional education (HBO)
- Enjoy a dynamic/challenging environment, take initiative, and look ahead
- Passionate about products
- Enjoy negotiating, but also crunch data to support fact based decision making, and like to work together in a team to create new ways of working
- Like to communicate at different levels in the organization, you’re confident, persuasive, and a good listener
- Have a focus beyond quick wins, are precise and persistent to reach your goals
- You know your way around Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Enthusiastic and bring a hands-on attitude
- Commercial experience in the broadest sense is a plus
