What will you be doing?
As a Quality Inspector, you will plan the measurement and inspections on all Vanderlande products and assemblies. The goal of the measurement and inspections can differ from being part of a product release at a supplier, a root cause investigation, or a risk-based incoming inspection. Based on the results, you will advise the Quality Assurance engineers in the department and be a sparring partner for them on which next steps to take.
As a measurement and Inspection team member, you are also continuously working on improving the department and being the expertise centre for measurement and inspections for Vanderlande to keep the Quality Standard high and up-to-date.

Responsibilities
- You plan, execute, and report measurements and inspections.
- You monitor measurements and inspections.
- You advise the QA Engineers on the release of Vanderlande products at suppliers.
- You advise the QA Engineers on root cause analyses for quality issues.
- You are proactive in continuous improvement.
- You act as an ambassador for QA and can give presentations to stakeholders.
- You work and participate as part of a team of QA professionals and coordinate with Vanderlande’s Global Quality community on processes, practices, and improvements.
- You work according to procedures/standards as agreed within Vanderlande’s Global Quality community and act as a role model for fellow QA Engineers and Inspectors.
What do we ask from you?
- Experience with Mechanical Metrology.
- Experience with Geometric Tolerances and Dimensioning.
- Experience with the production of mechanical parts.
- Basic knowledge of statistics (such as Histogram, Process Capability, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, good command of English both spoken and written is a must.

About the team
The Quality Assurance team consists of quality assurance engineers and quality assurance inspectors/metrologists. The department acts as a gatekeeper and advisor for assuring and maintaining the Vanderlande Quality Standard for parts and products. This is achieved by closely cooperating with Supply Chain, R&D, and Project Execution stakeholders.
The key activities are divided into four different focus areas: Release the Product, Manage the Supplier, Solve the Incident, and Measure & Inspect. In this way, we can manage all Supplier Quality Assurance activities in a structured way and create focus to assure high quality and sustainable equipment and services through reliable supplier relationships.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €3.600,- to €4.600,- gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
