The Role
We are seeking a polished and service-driven Host to join our high-performing store team. As the first face clients see, your role is crucial in setting the tone for a memorable in-store experience.This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of fine jewellery, working alongside a team committed to craftsmanship, excellence, and personalised service.
How You’ll Contribute
- Collections & Drop-Offs: Oversee client collections and drop-off appointments, ensuring a smooth, personalised handover experience.
- Client Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for all walk-in clients on weekends, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and are assisted promptly, especially when consultants are fully booked with scheduled viewings.
- Operational Support: Answer phone calls and assist with booking consultations, ensuring a smooth and efficient scheduling process for customers.
- Store Maintenance: Support sales consultants by maintaining an organised showroom, helping to tidy up display trays, returning sample jewellery to cabinets, and ensuring a polished presentation between back-to-back customer appointments.
- Experience Enhancement: Proactively observe customer interactions and step in as needed to enhance the overall showroom experience.
- Brand Ambassador: Maintain the highest standard of hospitality, ensuring all guests receive an exceptional, luxury retail experience.
- Success in this role looks like: creating a warm and seamless client experience by efficiently managing appointments, collections, and drop-offs, anticipating client needs, and supporting consultants to ensure smooth in-store operations and a polished, service-led environment.
Skills You’ll Bring to The Role
- 1-2 years’ experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or customer service, with a passion for high-end jewellery and client engagement
- Jewellery, gemmology, or luxury product training (e.g., GIA, JAA, or equivalent) highly advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and welcoming presence to greet all walk-in customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly assisting consultants and managing showroom organisation
- Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and ability to support the flow of appointments and uphold a premium in-store experience
- Impeccable personal presentation and alignment with brand aesthetic
- Willingness to travel to support other stores within the region to contribute to business success
- Availability to work weekends and peak trade periods is essential
