We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team for a long-term, 6-month internship, with an option to extend to 1 year. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management, data analysis, and supply chain operations. The intern will work closely with our Order Management and Planning teams, utilizing SAP MM (Materials Management) module, and preparing PowerBI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Your Day-to-Day:
Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Support inventory management activities, including tracking stock levels and processing inventory movements.
Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve shipment issues and optimize logistics operations.
Assist in maintaining material master data in the SAP MM module.
Help in processing purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verifications.
Support in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations using SAP MM.
Collect and analyze supply chain data to prepare insightful PowerBI dashboards.
Create and maintain reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance.
Assist in developing visualizations that provide actionable insights for the supply chain team.
Analyze supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports on supply chain performance.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests to support strategic initiatives.
Work closely with other departments such as procurement, production, and sales to ensure alignment of supply chain activities.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
What you bring to the table:
There is no set route to become a Supply Chain Intern, but to be successful in this role this is the kind of profile we have in mind:
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBI is a plus.
Familiarity (ready to learn) with SAP MM module is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
You are willing to work in our office in Amsterdam.
