Role description:
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join us in the Netherlands on attracting and selecting talent for Arcadis across our Mobility Business (Roads, Highways, Rail, New Mobility & Ports & Marine).
In this role, you will contribute to the business’s success by owning all recruitment processes and enabling the business to prioritize its hiring in accordance with its commercial needs. You will also support the overall employer of choice agenda in the delivery of talent.
In this role, you will be part of a global talent acquisition function and a true business partner.
Role accountabilities:
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, with a view to attracting the best possible talent to expand our teams, primarily within the disciplines of Design & Engineering, Program & Project Management, Sustainability & Asset Management,, although it’s likely you will also be asked to resource roles from a much wider portfolio on occasion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, with a view to sourcing the best possible talent to expand our teams.
- Using your market knowledge and best practice to advise stakeholders on process and ensure that all roles are sourced effectively.
- Positioning Arcadis as an employer of choice while conducting candidate screening and interviewing prospective candidates.
- Managing a high volume of permanent vacancies across diverse levels and skill sets, ensuring that priorities are identified and met.
- Managing the overall candidate experience, ensuring a positive outcome for all individuals, regardless of outcome.
- Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers and the various stakeholders you encounter throughout the recruitment process.
- Be an advocate for our values and ensure our recruitment processes are inclusive and free of bias’s.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will need to have significant experience hiring talent in the Netherlands market
- You will need to demonstrate being a consultant & partner to the business, building long-term lasting relationships and using market insight to inform and advise the business on sourcing strategies, utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter (headhunting), Boolean searching, and the best practice use of Applicant Tracking Systems
- You will need to be confident, articulate and actively engaging in both business and talent acquisitions discussions, being able to demonstrate a proactive, positive and curious mindset.
- You will need to show experience driving the best possible candidate and hiring management experience and think about the bigger picture and impact talent acquisition has on the wider Netherlands and global organization.
