We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Global Treasury team at our European HQ in Amsterdam. You will primarily focus on working with Tesla’s Treasury Management System (TMS), supporting and participating in global implementation projects, and ensuring the system supports efficient treasury operations (70%) and supporting operational activities across EMEA, APAC and LATAM, such as cash and liquidity management, forecasting, FX management and banking relationships. (30%) The Treasury Analyst will be an important part of our treasury team, and you will be able to take ownership of your own operational tasks, while contributing to operational and strategic decision making.
What You'll Do
- Treasury Management System Implementation: focus on the implementation of the TMS across the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient integration process.
- TMS Administration and Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the TMS, ensuring system stability and accuracy. Setup and maintain static data, design treasury work sheets and reports
- New Market Entries: support the technical implementation efforts relating to bank integration in new Tesla territories; including project management
- Treasury Process Optimization: Continuously review treasury processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation within the TMS. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control
- Monitor the daily cash and liquidity position and maintain regional cash reporting
- Forecast cash flow and currency requirements and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Lead the cash flow allocation process, optimize automated mapping in alignment with internal finance stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification preferred, or the equivalent in experience
- Experience working with treasury management systems in a corporate treasury environment with TMS implementation experience preferred
- You are a problem-solver; always looking for better ways to get things done
- You have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver high quality results
- You think in terms of automation and how processes can be streamlined
- You are always open to learning, collaborating and helping where needed
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written. Dutch is not required
