Zack & Zill is seeking a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team. We are a fast-paced, bar dedicated to providing exceptional service and a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, inform guests of daily specials, and answer questions about menu items and ingredients.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.
- Process payments accurately using our POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication (Dutch and English) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
- Must be of legal drinking age (More than 18 years old).
· Flexible to work on the weekends.
