In May 2025, NielsenIQ, a global leader in consumer intelligence, and VusionGroup, a pioneer in smart digital labels and Retail IoT, announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming physical retail through advanced data integration and AI-powered solutions.
The Vusion Partnership Leader will be responsible for leading the partnership between NielsenIQ and Vusion. This role involves developing the business enabled by the partnership, working closely with both retailers and manufacturers across the region
Key Objectives of the Partnership
- Integrate retail data by combining NielsenIQ’s point-of-sale, shelf insights, and consumer data with VusionGroup’s digital store technologies.
- Optimize retail operations by improving assortment planning, merchandising, pricing strategies, and supply chain efficiency.
- Enhance consumer engagement by enabling smarter, data-driven decisions for retailers and manufacturers to better meet consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the partnership with internal stakeholders across retail, manufacturer, product, and operations teams, ensuring alignment with global strategies
- Drive revenue growth by promoting the combined solutions in West Europe, focusing on France, Italy, Germany, the UK, and Spain.
- Present capabilities at both global and local levels to international manufacturers and retailers.
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop new features in existing retail and consumer measurement solutions.
- Partner with Vusion on new opportunities and prepare corresponding business plans.
- Develop a strategic understanding of the retail industry, business models, markets, and clusters.
- Expand the client base among Retail and CPG sectors by understanding client needs and offering tailored services.
- Manage RFPs from need assessment to pitch presentations, negotiation, and closing deals in collaboration with Key Account Managers.
- Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally to maximize business opportunities.
- Implement global and regional strategies and drive organizational change.
- Represent NIQ at retail industry and networking events.
- Accurately forecast revenue and maintain pipeline accuracy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the retail industry, including roles at retailers and CPGs, ideally involving data projects.
- Proven ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at the C-Suite level and across internal teams.
- Fluency in English and French; proficiency in a third language is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and an innovation-driven mindset.
- Experience in SaaS solution sales with a strong track record of meeting revenue targets and KPIs.
- Deep retail expertise.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
