For a leading player in the leisure and hotel industry, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager Germany. In this role, the focus is on expanding the hotel offering in the German market. It is a versatile position within an international sales team where business development, relationship management, and commercial results come together.
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for the further growth of the hotel network in Germany. With a portfolio consisting mainly of A-accounts and chain accounts, this professional serves as the first point of contact for hotels on the platform. Building strong relationships, ensuring visibility of deals, and optimizing the findability of offers are key responsibilities.
In addition, the Account Manager plays an active role in collaboration with the marketing team to keep customers informed and encourage them to book. Monitoring market developments and responding to changing conditions is also part of the daily activities. Another important aspect of the role is coaching and guiding colleagues within the Sales team to further enhance the level of Account Management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the best deals are visible on the website;
- Maintain daily contact with hotels and build long-term relationships;
- Use all available marketing and sales resources to maximize availability and pricing;
- Support hotels with uploading deals into the system;
- Negotiate profitable partnerships and close contractual agreements;
- Align product offerings with customer demand and improve existing campaigns;
- Keep property data up to date in the CRM system;
- Analyze market and business figures and respond to developments;
- Contribute to the growth of the Sales team through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Tourism or Hotel Management;
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Account Management;
- Strong commercial and sales skills;
- Experienced in using CRM applications at key-user level;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Fluent in German (preferably native) with good command of English.
