Business Sweden works with leading Swedish multinational and mid-size companies, as well as start-ups across all industries and client´s business is often driven by digitalization, innovation, and sustainability. Our services include e.g. market entry & growth strategies including M&A, sales acceleration, public affairs and B2G, as well as supply chain. We help Swedish companies enter new markets, understand market dynamics, identify local partners, appreciate the regulatory landscape, and build out their services or product offering.
The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:
- Collecting, analysing, and presenting information and insights, which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market.
- Supporting senior colleagues in sales dialogues, by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting.
- Preparing and arranging trade delegations, round table discussions and B2B meetings for Swedish companies.
- Support in our collaboration with the Swedish Embassies in the countries we operate in, to provide support and business promotion platforms for Swedish companies.
- We expect that you enjoy driving own initiatives as well as team work as the role comes with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.
The role is based in The Hague, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

Formal requirements
- Master of science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent
- Recent university degree or 1-3 years of relevant working experience e.g. consulting, business development, internationalisation.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have a high level of proficiency in English, meriting with Dutch and or Swedish.
- It is a plus if you have experience from living/working in other parts of the world.
