Business Development Manager (B2B MarTech Sales)

Join ScanmarQED and help us grow our client base across Europe with our PulseQED data platform. You’ll hunt for new business, qualify leads, pitch pilots, and close deals. We’re looking for long-term partnerships for technology that sits in the heart of our potential clients' business. This entails long sales cycles and effective stakeholder management. If you’re the kind of person who sees a challenge in convincing prospect stakeholders to embark on a pilot or POC, we want you!
How your workweek will look like:
40% Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and map out the market.
- Use LinkedIn, email, video, phone, and events to reach prospects.
- Attend industry events and engage with potential clients.
25% Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
- Ask smart questions and match needs to solutions.
- Explain complex platform features in simple terms.
- Navigate stakeholder networks.
20% Sales Pipeline Ownership
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead → opportunity → contract.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings.
- Sell pilots and proof of concepts.
10% Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the General Manager Mainland Europe.
- Tap into support from consultants and data engineers.
5% CRM & Reporting
- Keep Hubspot up to date.
- Forecast and track opportunities.

Must-Haves
- 3+ years in outbound B2B sales (MarTech preferred).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and independent.
- Understanding of marketing analytics.
- Organised and reliable—follow through on promises.
- Collaborative and approachable.
- Excellent communication skills— Active listener & can simplify complex ideas.
- Full-cycle sales mastery: lead gen, qualification, discovery, demos, negotiation, closing.
- Multilingual skills (Dutch and English)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling SaaS or analytics platforms.
- CRM-savvy (Hubspot experience a plus).
