About this role
We're looking for a Commercial Insights & Strategy Lead, Europe to drive business performance and strategic decisions for our European operations. Reporting to the Strategy and Operations Manager for Europe, you'll use your analytical skills to provide crucial insights into growth opportunities across our European markets. This is a unique chance to work closely with senior leaders, including the EVP of Europe, to shape the strategic direction of Just Eat Takeaway's European business.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role
- Lead analysis of current and forecasted performance, identifying opportunities and risks, and proposing solutions for Europe.
- Improve KPI dashboards to track the health and performance of our European markets and initiatives.
- Analyze commercial and operational data to find trends and areas for improvement.
- Support business reviews with data-driven insights.
- Lead or support ad-hoc analytical projects to address business questions and evaluate strategies.
- Build strong relationships with data, finance, and local teams to understand market-specific challenges.
What will you bring to the table?
- Proven experience in trading, business analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in consulting, marketplace, or e-commerce, with a track record of presenting insights to senior leaders.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Ability to use advanced analytics to measure initiative success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- A curious and inquisitive mind that loves diving into data.
