The Lead Analyst, Commercial Planning Europe will be responsible for supporting order management, demand planning and PLCM activities in support of the Division and their respective Business Unit. This person will collaborate with Upstream & downstream marketing, IBP, Finance, Inventory and Supply process partners to support the needs of the business. They will be expected to be aware of & monitor key business performance indicators and ensure proactive risk avoidance is performed in advance of business interruptions.

- Support the creation and maintenance of high-quality demand forecasts and demand forecast analytics. Must assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating/maintaining the demand forecast, including historical order bookings/shipments, item master data, market and macro-economic trends, seasonality, promotions, and product life-cycle management
- Support the improvement of forecast accuracy by effectively analyzing sources of forecast error and recommending appropriate action plans
- Partner with the IBP team to ensure demand plans are communicated effectively across the supply function.
- Serve as a key team member of the Commercial Ops order management function for the General Manager, Marketing, Sales and Finance business partners and for the IBP Franchise Manager, or Analyst for matters concerning allocation and communication for orders, especially limited supply situations.
- Identify actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making for senior leaders.
- Represent the commercial order management needs within Stryker’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, demonstrating thought leadership, creativity in solving problems and the ability to appropriately communicate and escalate issues as needed.
- Address and process execution of the product life-cycle management process for all new product launches and product exits as it relates to the commercial planning function.
- Partner with teammates to drive continuous improvement in the development, modification and adjustment of procedures, policies & processes / technologies within the commercial inventory planning organization.
- Order Management
- First point of contact for daily questions regarding supply or order allocation
- Support or lead in execution of material reservation in Oracle
- Assist in collecting/managing order escalation for the BU
- Point of contact for marketing and sales on order related questions or allocations
- Monitor and action on aging orders
- Assist in month /quarter / year end revenue recognition
- Demand Planning
- Lead demand alignment meetings and making updates in Demantra
- Pull monthly "lock files" every Friday of Demand lock and send out to process partners
- Send out EDR skeleton deck to process partners before EDR meeting
- Pull all necessary data for EDR deck creation
- Review Automated Insights metrics to leverage for suggested edits within the demand plan
- Update ASPs within Demantra quarterly
- Lead Monthly EDR meetings
- PLCM
- Work with PLCM manager to successfully phase in and out SKUs
- Work with supply and marketing to identify SKU candidates for SKU rationalization
Bachelor’s Degree Required
3-4 years of experience
Proficient in MS Excel
Knowledge of ERP transactional data and SAP/Oracle preferred
Experience in highly regulated industry preferred
