Some of the things you’ll be doing
- Ensuring that client entities maintain good legal standing and comply with both local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assisting in the establishment and management of corporate, fund, and private legal structures.
- Providing corporate secretarial support and transactional assistance to client entities.
- Enabling clients to meet deadlines and stay in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records for client entities.
- Managing relationships with clients and all relevant stakeholders, including advisors and regulatory authorities.
- Reinforcing and maintaining our reputation as a proactive provider of trust and corporate services. Acting as a gatekeeper to safeguard the integrity of the financial system and ensure compliance with WFT (Wet Financieel Toezicht) regulations.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Dutch Law, Corporate Law, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in trust services, financial services, law firms, or corporate legal departments. Experience in corporate secretarial functions is highly preferred (complex client portfolio with 40-50 entities)
- Solid background in corporate secretarial services, including the management of legal entities, compliance, corporate governance, and filings. Familiarity with the processes and legal requirements of entity management is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze legal and business issues from a commercial perspective. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess risks and opportunities in a business context.
- Highly accurate, with a keen eye for detail. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize while maintaining precision and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
