Take Responsibility – The Position: Compensation & Benefits and HR Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation & Benefits and HR Operations Manager to lead the strategic development and operational excellence of Stokke’s global reward, benefits, and HR systems framework. This senior, stand-alone role requires both the vision to design a future-ready compensation and benefits strategy—aligned with our ambitions for 2026 and beyond—and the operational capability to deliver HR processes with precision.
Based in Amsterdam and reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be accountable for designing, implementing, and continuously improving our global job evaluation framework, salary structures, incentive programs, and benefits offerings. You will ensure our C&B policies and operations are competitive, compliant, and scalable, while also creating data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Job Evaluation
- Lead the design and global roll-out of a structured job evaluation framework, translating this into a transparent and scalable salary house.
- Ensure alignment between job grading, pay bands, and our organisational growth plans through 2026 and beyond.
- Monitor market trends and adjust compensation policies to remain competitive in dynamic market conditions.
Change Management & Leadership Enablement
- Further enhance the C&B approach to a proactive, market-responsive reward framework.
- Educate and coach leaders to effectively manage compensation conversations and budget allocations within their teams.
- Partner with HRBPs to ensure C&B strategy is embedded in workforce planning and talent retention initiatives.
Incentive & Bonus Programs
- Review existing Bonus & Incentive plans to drive continuous improvement that reflects business objectives, market benchmarks, and performance metrics.
- Oversee annual bonus cycles, ensuring clear governance, communication, and execution.
- Provide modelling and scenario planning for variable pay programs to support executive decision-making.
Benefits Management
- Lead a global review of benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and cultural alignment.
- Partner with local HR to harmonise benefits frameworks where possible, while respecting regional requirements.
- Recommend modern, flexible benefits solutions that support employee wellbeing and engagement.
Data & Insights
- Build and maintain advanced reporting and analytics on C&B metrics (e.g., compa-ratio, pay equity, benefits uptake, incentive performance).
- Develop KPI dashboards in tools such as Power BI to provide real-time insight to senior leadership.
- Use data to forecast C&B costs and model impact scenarios for future organisational changes.
HR Operations & Process Efficiency
- Identify and implement efficiencies in HR administration and operational processes to free capacity for strategic HR activities.
- Oversee global HR systems when related to reporting and data management, including HiBob HRIS administration for relevant modules.
- Partner with IT to ensure integration of HR systems with business intelligence tools.
Team & Resource Oversight
- Ensure this role is effectively leveraged to maintain accurate data, support process execution, and provide operational continuity.
Better Together – The Ideal Profile
Education Required
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience Required
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, with exposure to global frameworks and complex, multi-country environments.
- Proven ability to design and implement job evaluation, salary structures, and incentive plans at scale.
- Strong operational HR background with experience leading HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Skilled in data analytics and financial modelling; expert in Excel and experienced with Power BI or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of HR systems administration (HiBob preferred) and process automation.
- Experience in IPO readiness or high-growth environments strongly preferred.
