As the HR Manager, you will:
- Act as a strategic business partner, developing and implementing HR strategies to support short- and medium-term business objectives.
- Serve as a management team member with decision-making authority over HR operations and a €2.8M personnel budget.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job profiles, managing TalentLink, screening candidates, negotiating contracts, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and safety regulations, managing systems like SuccessFactors, Immotix, Marsh-Mercer, and Vitalias.
- Drive talent management, learning and development programs, and employer branding initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary matters, investigations, and union interactions.
- Monitor and design market-competitive compensation packages through benchmarking.
- Provide accurate HR reporting (e.g., absence, turnover, headcount) to the parent company.
- Champion safety as a member of the BHV team and Human Performance Champion, analyzing workplace accidents and promoting prevention.
- Lead continuous improvement and implement effective HR processes aligned with Novolex global standards.
Wat we van jou willen
We’re seeking a driven HR professional with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR business partner experience in manufacturing or distribution.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or local equivalent certification (preferred).
- Expertise in talent management, recruitment, remuneration, and organizational development.
- Proficiency with HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors), payroll, and applicant tracking systems (e.g., TalentLink).
- Experience leading change in a fast-paced environment and working with unions (preferred).
- Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel sporadically to the UK and possibly the US.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and balance commercial and regulatory priorities.
