As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and execute the hotel’s People & Culture strategy, aligning it with business goals and Mandarin Oriental standards.
- Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and colleague relations.
- Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives, grievance management, and employee well-being programs.
- Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.
- Ensure legal compliance, including labour law adherence, employment contracts, and safety & health policies.
- Drive training and career development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and internal promotions.
- Monitor HR systems, metrics, and processes for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
As Director of People & Culture we expect from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality or international environments.
- Fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and organizational abilities with a strategic mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of Dutch labour laws, HR practices, and compliance standards.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
