People Systems Implementation Program Director
Location: Europe Region | Contract: Fixed Term, 18 Months (with potential extension)
Travel: Up to 25–50% | Language: Fluent English required
DP World Europe is seeking a seasoned Program Director to co-lead the implementation of our People Systems Program, focused on permanent employees across Europe. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role working side-by-side with the Senior Director of People Operations and reporting directly to the Vice President Transformation - Europe. The successful candidate will help drive the rollout of one HR system, ensuring structure, governance, and delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Program Plan: Build and manage a detailed implementation roadmap, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive Governance & Delivery: Facilitate steering committees, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure alignment with tight deadlines.
- Partner with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with our senior leaders across People, Finance, and Technology to ensure mandate and momentum.
- Lead with Influence: Engage confidently with executive stakeholders, push for decisions, and maintain progress in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ensure Execution: This is not a reporting role—it’s hands-on program management. You’ll be the driving force behind execution, not just observation.
What You Bring
- Extensive PM Experience: 10–15 years in program management, ideally in large-scale systems implementations. PMI or Prince2 certification preferred.
- Strength of Character: Able to stand your ground, influence senior leaders, and drive decisions forward.
- Structured Thinking: Skilled at bringing clarity and structure to unstructured environments.
- Hands-On Leadership: You’re not building a team—you’re the team. You’ll work closely with the Senior Director of People Operations to land this program successfully.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Able to quantify effort, manage dependencies, and keep the program on track.
- Communication Excellence: Clear, confident, and tactful communicator across all levels of the organization.
