What will you do?

As an Edge-to-Cloud Software Engineer, you’ll work within a multidisciplinary team on challenging customer projects. No two days are the same: one day you might develop software to analyze medical imaging data on an embedded GPU, the next you're connecting edge devices to a serverless cloud backend or building a web interface for real-time data visualization. You’ll often work on prototypes or feasibility studies for start-ups or innovation projects, where smart, creative solutions are key. You’re involved in the full development cycle, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software.

Your tasks include:

·       Systematically analyzing complex problems;

·       Translating system architecture into a technical design;

·       Implementation of the chosen solution;

·       Testing, validating, and documenting for customer delivery;

·       Sometimes you’ll focus on a specific part of the system (like embedded control or a front-end application), and other times you’ll be involved from low-level hardware to cloud services and UI. In both cases, you’ll have the freedom to come up with clever solutions and make technology truly work.

Requirements

What do you bring?

·       A bachelor's or master's degree in software, embedded systems, or electrical engineering;

·       At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer;

·       Experience with C++ and/or Python; experience with RUST, C, and C# is a plus;

·       Technical experience with: Docker, gRPC/protobuf, REST, WebSockets, OAuth2, MQTT

·       Cloud experience: AWS, serverless, DynamoDB, CDK, IoT Core

·       Framework experience: React, Django, CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, GoogleTest, Grafana, Embassy, Tokio

·       Knowledge of or affinity with hardware control at embedded or PC level (I2C, SPI, GPIO, etc.);

·       Knowledge on cloud (AWS) or front-end (React);

·       Curious and independent mindset: you pick things up quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar technology;

·       Experience in medical projects or safety-critical systems is a plus.
