ABOUT BENELUX CUSTOMER OPERATIONS
The Customer Operations Benelux team consist of various roles and teams that make Excellent Execution a success. The Customer Operations teams focus on less time spent on ‘Running the Business’ to reinvest in ‘Growing the Business’ whilst improving Customer and Employee Satisfaction. Operations brings Sales, Supply Chain and Marketing within Unilever Benelux together in realizing excellent execution. The 4 principles driving Customer Operations are: end 2 end ownership, maximized automation, one version of the truth and continuous improvement. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an EDI specialist in the Order to Cash (OTC) and Business to Business area.
The EDI specialist will play a crucial role in providing expert knowledge and insights in the Order-to-Cash & business to business/government area (EDI), contributing to the development and success of our projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the subject (in the area of Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Logistics), excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
EDI Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, monitor, and maintain EDI transactions, specifically ORDERS, DESADV, and INVOIC document types.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set up and maintain EDI connections with customers and suppliers.
Issue Resolution: Analyse and resolve EDI errors or discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate data exchanges.
SAP Integration: Work closely with the SAP SD/MM to integrate EDI processes into the SAP landscape, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
EDI Mapping & Standards: Coordinate with trading partners to implement and test EDI mappings and standards (e.g., EDIFACT, XML).
Workflow Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor EDI workflows and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational efficiency.
Onboarding & Updates: Support the onboarding of new trading partners and handle updates to existing EDI setups.
Documentation & Compliance: Document EDI processes, configurations, and issue resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Industry standards: Stay updated on industry trends and standards in EDI and SAP integration technologies.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, project management, Supply Chain or a related field.
Excellent SAP R3/S4 Hana knowledge (SAP SD/MM), SAP BTP.
Demonstrated experience with EDI (terminology, formats, design and workflow).
At least 4 years work experience in Supply / Sales or data engineering.
Proven track record of project and process implementation.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ambitious, curious and the drive to explore new developments.
Excellent analytical skills, combined with practical creativity for identification of improvement potentials, process orientated and good in time management.
