Job overview:
Lead our pricing initiatives across EMEA for our medical devices portfolio. This role is critical in driving value-based pricing strategies to ensure our products remain competitive while aligning with regulatory standards, market needs, and customer expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing models, enhance profitability, and support the growth of our medical device offerings across diverse EMEA markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Shape and scale the EMEA regional pricing function.
- Define and implement a forward-looking, structured pricing strategy that aligns with business growth objectives
- Build and lead a high-impact pricing organization, fostering strategic alignment and capability development
- Strengthen governance frameworks to enhance pricing discipline and decision-making across the region
- Position pricing as a value-creation lever, gaining buy-in from senior commercial and product leadership

Drive strategic price management across EMEA
- Oversee the strategic design and execution of price-setting processes that support profitability and competitive positioning
- Lead the annual pricing strategy cycle, integrating cost evolution, competitive intelligence, and margin optimization.
- Deliver actionable pricing guidance to leadership, enabling confident decision-making in dynamic markets.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment for seamless execution of pricing initiatives across finance, product, and commercial teams

Governance and Compliance: Standardise price management across the region.
- Champion a harmonized pricing governance model to support compliance, transparency, agility and risk mitigation
- Ensure pricing data integrity and transparency, creating a centralized repository for approvals, policies, and historical price lists.
- Lead monthly pricing performance reviews with divisional leadership teams to drive execution and accountability.

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making and Innovation
- Develop and enhance Power BI-based pricing dashboards, enabling real-time tracking of price performance, margin trends, and revenue impact.
- Leverage advanced analytics, competitive intelligence, and AI-driven tools to inform pricing strategies and predict market behaviors.
- Drive innovation in pricing methodologies, including value-based pricing and dynamic/tiered pricing models

Provide tender pricing strategy guidance to the business.
- Act as a key strategic advisor for high-value deal structuring, ensuring optimized pricing and long-term customer value
- Lead pricing strategy for complex tenders, integrating regulatory, cost, and market intelligence considerations
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to shape winning bid strategies and strategic offers

Leadership and influence a matrixed organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape pricing strategies that align with business objectives and product lifecycle strategies
- Influence across functions—sales, finance, marketing, regulatory, and R&D—to ensure cohesive execution of pricing priorities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leaders, facilitating strategic pricing conversations and alignment
- Define and execute the Regional Pricing Strategy
- Lead the development of a comprehensive pricing roadmap for the medical devices portfolio across EMEA
- Integrate market insights, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks into strategic pricing decisions
- Monitor the impact of pricing strategies on business performance and adjust proactively to maximize value
- Build organizational capability
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a best-in-class pricing team focused on strategic impact and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the pricing function and across partner teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic pricing, commercial strategy, or business development, with a focus on the medical device or healthcare sector.
- In-depth understanding of the medical device industry, including regulatory frameworks, pricing and reimbursement processes, and competitive landscape.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies in a multinational, regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in pricing analytics, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional European languages being a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in managing a region’s end to end pricing function.
- Familiarity with HTA processes, national reimbursement systems, and public/private healthcare policies.
- Experience with pricing optimization tools or platforms (e.g., PowerBi, ModelN, PROS, Zilliant, or similar).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.
