Your mission
In this role, you are responsible for driving pricing excellence across the BDR Thermea Spares organization. You will take ownership of the end-to-end pricing strategy for our spares portfolio across multiple countries. You define and implement pricing strategies, policies, tools, and best practices that ensure consistency and maximize profitability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your insights will directly impact margin, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
As a pricing leader, you combine data with business insights to guide local teams and support our commercial goals across the globe.
This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a key business area while working closely with international colleagues across the organization.
This is a hybrid role, based out of Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. To ensure collaboration, we invite you to work from our Apeldoorn office 2-3 days per week (good2know: we also have a hub in Amsterdam). We support your home office setup, travel costs, and offer flexibility to work in a hybrid way.
About the team
You'll be an integral member of the High-Growth Spares Division, reporting to the Group Head of Spare Parts at BDR Thermea Group’s office.
At BDR Thermea, the Spares business represents approximately €240 million in revenue and stands as one of the most profitable segments of the company. Currently BDR Thermea is undertaking a major transformation of our global Spares operations to support ambitious growth targets and strengthen our market leadership.
You’ll join a lean, international team with a strong focus on data, performance, and execution. This role will be essential in shaping and deploying our new global pricing strategy. With a newly implemented pricing process in place, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, bring your expertise to life, and support our local markets in driving value and growth. You will work closely with pricing, sales, marketing, finance, and portfolio management teams both centrally and across local markets.
What you’ll do
• Define and implement value-based pricing models across all spares product lines
• Develop and manage the central pricing policy, price lists, and coordinates regional strategies
• Ensure pricing consistency across countries and product categories
• Monitor price evolution, competitor trends, and the impact of price changes on margins and sales
• Lead the selection and implementation of pricing tools and analytics
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to measure pricing performance
• Develop and roll out pricing guidelines and playbooks across the business
• Support local teams through training, coaching, and process improvement
• Work cross-functionally to address low-margin products and improve profitability
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
What you bring?
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing management in a B2B environment, ideally within spare parts or complex product portfolios
• Strong data and analytical skills – you're comfortable diving into numbers to drive decisions
• Experienced in managing a large number of SKUs, with a strong curiosity and willingness to understand both the data behind the numbers and the practical usage of the products they represent.
• Experience working across international and matrix organizations
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) – and preferably an additional European language – both clear, concise, and persuasive
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills – you’re confident presenting to senior leaders
• Coaching mindset – you enjoy building capabilities and guiding others
• Bonus points for experience in HVAC, technical products, or Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) credentials
