A bank with a fund? Of course! We are looking for a colleague who will energetically take on the role of Expert Social Impact Communication for the ING Netherlands Fund. Your most important assignment is to take care of the internal and external communication of the fund and the organization of various social events. This helps you put the fund (even better) on the map and optimize the impact of the fund.

The team
You will work at the ING Netherlands Fund, the corporate fund of ING Netherlands. But you join ING. Together with a director, impact manager and intern you form a small team. The ING Netherlands fund team is part of the Center of Expertise (CoE) Sustainability of ING Netherlands. The ING Netherlands fund seeks collaboration to increase its impact, both within the Sustainability CoE and with other departments within ING. We are housed in ING's Cedar head office, located near Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station.
Roles and responsibilities
You are responsible for the implementation of the communication strategy of the ING Netherlands Fund, and for the (further) development of a strong, distinctive and recognizable image.
You are responsible for the internal and external communication of the fund. From news items to short films, you can't wait to get it done. You monitor and analyze the impact of communication activities, and ensure optimization where possible.
You are responsible for various events of the ING Netherlands Fund where networking and knowledge gathering and/or exchange are central. From a large symposium to a small-scale deep dive, you ensure a successful experience for the participants.
You are responsible for the implementation of the fund's Academy. Thanks to this broad range of knowledge, partners of the fund can sharpen their knowledge and skills in order to make even more impact.
You support the director and impact manager in the account management of the fund's partners.

As a Expert Social Impact Communication you have the following traits and experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience as a communications professional/events professional.
HBO/Academic education level.
A character that can be described as: curious, connecting, enterprising, independent, solution-oriented, pragmatic, analytical and critical. You feel at home in a dynamic environment and like to take control.
A passion for social impact and strong affinity with the themes that are relevant to the ING Netherlands Fund.
Experience in translating complex topics into inspiring and understandable text and images that are accessible to a wide audience.
Highly developed social skills.
An excellent command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
