The Heineken Hoek Bistro
The Heineken Hoek is back, and better than ever. Upstairs from the iconic Grand Café on Leidseplein, we’re opening a brand-new bistro with French flair, a compact menu, and a vibrant atmosphere. The focus lies on two signature dishes: entrecôte and moules marinières, both prepared to perfection with top-quality ingredients. In the evenings, a DJ sets the tone with a stylish, lively, yet relaxed vibe.
Bistro Team
You’ll work with a small, close-knit team and lead the operation during your shifts. You’re the go-to person for both guests and colleagues and ensure everything runs smoothly. The Bistro is more intimate than the Grand Café downstairs, which means that as a floor manager, you have a real influence on the atmosphere, service level, and team spirit. You’ll coordinate with the chef, the DJ, and the Grand Café manager, but independently run your own bistro shifts.

What we’re looking for
For this role, we are looking for someone who:
- has proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry
- is guest-focused, professional, and solution-oriented
- maintains oversight and brings structure to the operation
- guides and supports team members in a positive way
- is available to work evenings and weekends
- speaks fluent English and preferably Dutch
