WB COO C&DS is responsible for all Payment & Cash Management operational activities along the client life cycle and the Digital Services to our clients. This reaches from Client Onboarding, through in life Client Services and back office processing, to an potential Client Offboarding. These services are within C&DS supported by strong Process Leadership and our Process Excellence & Automation team.
We have strong ambitions to accelerate in:
- Standardization and digitalization of our key processes so that clients can self-serve where possible and manual process steps are intelligently automated.
- Executing our Client Services Target Operating Model to serve our clients with high quality and in a scalable manner.
Within WB COO C&DS we are constantly looking for ways to improve our customer’s experience and create efficiencies in the processes. Our Global Process Leadership Team drives these improvements towards global standards in a highly digitized and automated way. This team covers different process domains and one of them is Accounts & Reporting.
We are looking for a Global Process Lead for Accounts & Reporting. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts, ensuring that our clients can easily find the information they need online and manage (open, modify, and close) their accounts through our Inside Business platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for the roll-out of the GPL 2.0 framework, where we aim to steer end-to-end (E2E) processes. You will work closely with the global process domain lead and other process leads, both within and outside our area.
Key responsibilities
- Drive digitalization and automation of processes within accounts & reporting on a global scale.
- Implement target operating model in a scalable way.
- You design, monitor and improve global E2E processes according to customer, business (P/L) and legal requirements including the Service & Contracting Framework and product control frameworks.
- Drives process improvements in the whole chain.
- Involves appropriate stakeholders in process performance reviews, improvement decisions, planning and implementation of process improvements.

- You have a significant track record in driving and implementing change and improving end-to-end processes.
- You are a self-starter and team player. You can take the lead and empower others towards delivery.
- You have (international) experience in complex organizations and a bird’s eye view on ING’s business processes and, risks and associated controls.
- Strong analytical, influencing and learning skills.
- You are professionally sceptic, knowledgeable and solution oriented.
- Emotional resilience and confidence: you adapt easily to new environments, remain calm and continue to perform under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management across WB business lines and ING locations, you get people on board and ensure necessary buy in.
- You talk open and honestly, are a trustworthy sparring partner. You give and act on constructive feedback.
- You have an academic or master’s degree.
