Due to an increased awareness of ACAPS value add to the humanitarian sector, ACAPS now operates analysis hubs covering Afghanistan, Yemen, Colombia, Ethiopia, and Ukraine. This is in addition to multiple global teams providing analysis spanning over 150 countries and 100 active crises worldwide. ACAPS donor portfolio is also expanding, with current active funding from key institutional donors such as FCDO, SDC, GFFO, GAC, SDC, NMFA and others.

We are embarking on an exciting new chapter as ACAPS recently became an independent organization, registered in The Hague. ACAPS Rapid Analysis Team

The ACAPs Rapid Analysis Team is dedicated to produce timely briefing notes upon request on any emergency, and to run in parallel a deeper analysis on selected thematic topics. The position contributes to ACAPS’ timely analysis of humanitarian crises, enabling crisis responders to make better informed decisions.

Purpose of the position 

Contribute to ACAPS’ timely analysis of humanitarian crises, thus enabling crisis responders to make better informed decisions. This is an entry level position for people interested in a career in the humanitarian sector and who are specifically interested in qualitative and quantitative analysis, humanitarian planning, and in promoting evidence-based decision making. The information analyst will develop valuable knowledge in analysis techniques, including secondary data review, joint analysis, and data management.
