Internship Workplace Transformation

Van den Bosch is a leading international logistics service provider, specialized in bulk transport for the chemical and food industries. From our headquarters in Erp and various international locations, we work daily on smart, sustainable, and digital logistics solutions.

The IT department at Van den Bosch consists of around 18 employees, each with their own area of expertise. Within this team, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and gain hands-on experience. Additionally, you’ll make a concrete contribution to the following project:

The challenge: from desktop to laptop
At Van den Bosch, we are currently transitioning from fixed desktop workstations to flexible, laptop-based workplaces. This is a modern, future-oriented transformation in which you can play an active role.

As an intern, you will support the IT department with the physical and organizational transformation of workstations in Erp. You will also assist in preparing for the rollout to our international offices. Tasks include:

• Receiving, registering, and checking hardware from suppliers;
• Preparing and installing the new workplace setup;
• Processing hardware in the administration system;
• Coordinating deliveries and rollouts abroad;
• Communicating with international colleagues about planning and installation.

The choice of hardware and software has already been made. Your focus will be on execution, planning, and coordination.

Your profile

• You are currently pursuing an MBO or HBO degree in ICT Service Management or a similar field;
• You have an affinity for IT hardware and workspace management;
• You work accurately, independently, and in a structured manner;
• You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• You are enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues both locally and internationally.
