Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager - MEP Quality Supervision, supporting our project team to ensure that all mechanical/electrical and civil construction activities are performed in accordance with the project specifications, plans, and codes to report to the quality and project managers on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Identify and seek resolution of quality issues.
- Supervise inspections and witness testing to verify that works are meeting standards.
- Validate and maintain quality control on the project platform.
- Work with the project team to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Communicate quality control and site issues to the quality and project managers.
- Assist in the verification of progress claimed by contractors.
- Maintain a daily site diary for progress.
- Participate in client’s safety observation system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Hands-on experience in project management or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
- Proactive and focused on continuous improvement, including providing well-thought out solutions.
- A strong motivation to join Turner & Townsend and aspire to build a career in project management.
