Your Responsibilities
Project & Site Management
- Full responsibility for the management and coordination of the construction site for assigned projects
- Ensure effective and professional communication with clients, project managers, and on-site teams
- Prepare, plan, and supervise all project activities on location
- Monitor work progress and report daily to project management and operations
- Identify additional work and communicate proactively with project leadership
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized working environment
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Enforce compliance with safety rules and regulations (internal and customer-specific)
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workplace inspections
- Ensure correct use of PPE and issue work permits as needed
- Cooperate with HSEQ manager for ongoing safety improvement
- Initiate and lead Safe Start meetings
Logistics & Site Coordination
- Supervise waste disposal and materials handling according to environmental guidelines
- Leave the site in a clean and professional condition
- Coordinate all logistical needs relevant to the site operation
Quality Control
- Oversee quality checks of incoming/outgoing materials and ongoing work
- Ensure alignment with customer specifications and quality levels
- Collaborate with clients and the project manager on quality matters
Administration & Reporting
- Accurately register material usage, working hours, and site documentation
- Handle packing slips, freight letters, and near-miss or incident reports
What You Bring to the Role
Education & Certifications
- Technical training at level 4 or equivalent experience in the field
- Valid Full VCA certificate and First Aid/BHV training
Professional Experience
- Several years of experience in refractory construction
- Skilled in fiber, concrete, bricklaying, and gunning applications
- Solid experience with digital tools and Microsoft Office suite
Languages
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
