Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will support the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of our EMEA logistics operations. This role is integral to managing inbound shipments, inventory control, outbound distribution, and regulatory compliance across our European warehouse network. It involves cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, customer service, regulatory, and international teams.
Responsibilities
Inbound Logistics
- Coordinate deliveries from EU suppliers and ensure document compliance (CMR, packing list).
- Manage urgent airfreight shipments and customs coordination.
- Supervise warehouse-specific inbound procedures
- Ensure inspection upon arrival and booking inbound receipt.
Inventory Management
- Monitor and execute internal stock movements and sub inventory transfers.
- Assist with repackaging, stock corrections, and disposal processes.
- Ensure physical vs. system stock reconciliation and discrepancy analysis.
- Maintain accurate data and inventory KPIs accuracy.
Outbound Logistics
- Prepare/ plan outbound shipments including standard, consignment, and FCA dispatches.
- Verify shipping and packing instructions from customer POs.
- Coordinate transport bookings and document preparation.
Import & Export Operations
- Handle clearance processes for containers and ISO-tank shipments.
- Prepare and validate export documents for multiple EMEA regions.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and storage providers.
Operational Excellence
- Support provider evaluations (3PLs, carriers).
- Contribute to logistics handbook and SOP development.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Proactive and hands-on problem solver.
- Able to manage priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Experience with bonded/temporary storage and ADR regulations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools for logistics tasks.
