As Maintenance Technician, you work outdoor performing different maintenance activities to ensure the safety and integrity of our terminal in Moerdijk.
Stolthaven Terminals, a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids: chemicals, clean petroleum products, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals.
What you will do
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for increasing the reliability, availability, integrity, and profitability of our technical installations.
This means that your area of expertise focuses on mechanical engineering, where you play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our installations by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. You work closely with other technicians and contractors to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on installations.
- Analyze and solve faults to ensure continuity.
- Report maintenance activities in systems such as Ultimo.
- Propose and implement improvements within the maintenance process.
- Coordinate the work of contractors during projects and maintenance shutdowns.
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards during all activities, actively contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- MBO diploma level 3/4 in Mechanical Engineering and a valid VCA B.
- 2/3 years of experience with maintenance work on rotating equipment.
- Experience in the (petro)chemical industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel is a must, and preferably Ultimo or other Maintenance Management Systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English, and ideally a good understanding of Dutch.
Proactive, driven attitude combined with a diligence in following safety and environmental regulations.
