Role description
The Manager Outsourced Management is a senior manager who
oversees the management of our partners and reinsured Pension
Funds, about 80% of our book. The job holder manages the team
that acts as the local center of expertise and is ultimately responsible
for the accurate and correct administration, in the broadest sense, of
our outsourced business, including reinsurance and captive
management. Through this, Outsourced management is pivotal in
facilitating growth.
The job holder plays a key role in not only managing the
administrative and operational side of the proposition, but also in
managing our partnerships in close cooperation with Business
Development as owners of these strategic relationships.
To ensure alignment and collaboration building relevant relationships
is key: external stakeholders (NVGA, regulators) as well as internal
stakeholders (Pricing, Claims, Finance and Operations), to ensure
alignment and collaboration.
Leadership & Management
Manage your team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment where data is managed securely and financial processing is accurate. Work closely with internal teams, such as Business Services and the Data Office, to optimize data flow and system processes.
Growth & client driven approach
Facilitate growth by supporting the company’s strategy and plans to build a robust proposition for our Outsourced business. The job holder is expected
to bring client driven leadership in managing our partnerships in close cooperation with Business Development.
The jobholder is encouraged to represent elipsLife in relevant industry bodies.
Partner management
Create and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the most recent FMA-approved standards to ensure consistency and clarity in relationships with mandated partners. Assist in the selection and onboarding of new partners, as well as the termination of those who do not meet performance standards, while conducting due diligence throughout. This role ensures all partners meet our
high standards of quality, compliance, and risk management.
Process & data
Drive continuous process improvements and ensure the integrity, security, and timely delivery of data while maintaining strict oversight of financial accountability and operational efficiency.
