Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is building a new production facility in Sassenheim, The Netherlands for the manufacturing of Lentiviral Vector (LVV). This biologics manufacturing facility is intended to become a key supply node for commercial LVV in support of our CAR-T program to treat multiple myeloma, a disease affecting ~160,000 patients annually, while also supporting launches of other products.

Job Summary:
As a member of the global Advanced Therapies Supply Planning team, the Planning Lead Advanced Therapies is responsible for the coordination and execution of activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials. This role also acts as a lead or key team member in improvement and tech transfer projects. This position offers an outstanding experience in the Advanced Therapies platform and excellent potential for further career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the successful introduction of new products or technical transfers, lead material and components Phase in and Phase Out processes.
- Forecast and order raw material requirements. Ensure material availability to meet production requirements and ultimately achieve a service level of 100%.
- In case of material constraints, support or lead material availability resolution. Act as the key point of contact for various functional areas.
- Meet inventory targets, minimizing excess, obsolete, and expired materials.
- Maintain accurate Master data and production parameters in SAP in alignment with different functions.
- Lead or support process improvement projects and initiatives (e.g. continuous improvement, tech transfer and cost improvement projects).
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have the following qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related Business subject area.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, logistics, or a similar supply chain function.
- Strong understanding of Planning/Purchasing in a multi-national environment.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure a high level of integrity and implementation of Credo-based actions.
Preferred:
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge in the areas of inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply planning, scenario analysis, sales and operations planning, and/or process excellence.
- Supply Chain or Six Sigma Certification (e.g APICS, Green Belt, Black Belt).
