Within Nutreco, the Competence Center (NCC) is the heart of application, data, and process excellence. We group domain experts to drive cross-functional business value through harmonized systems and best-in-class IT practices. This team of 70 people located across North and South America, Asia, Europe and Australia, supports Nutreco’s worldwide feed business in the area of Infor M3, our ERP system, and other business supporting applications.
Your Role
As Process Information Manager for Supply Chain Management (SCM), you are the strategic owner of the Supply Chain process framework, related IT applications, and overall performance. You will define and implement IT strategies in partnership with business and enterprise architecture leaders, ensuring that IT solutions meet real business needs. Staying informed about the latest digital developments in your domain helps you operate on strategic and tactical levels, with a direct reporting line to the Director of NCC.
You are also accountable for managing the NCC SCM team, overseeing the project portfolio, and acting as a key contributor to Nutreco’s global IT transformation in Supply Chain. You will collaborate closely with the Business Process Owner, Enterprise Architects, Business Benefit Realization Manager, and the Director IT Strategy, Portfolio & Architecture (SPA).
Key Responsibilities
Define and deliver IT strategy for the Supply Chain domain in close alignment with Enterprise Architects, Business Process Owners, and IT leadership
Own and lead operational excellence of our key SCM systems Infor M3 ensuring they support global standardization and performance.
Lead a team of global, remote-working Business Application Specialists, providing coaching, direction, and development opportunities.
Execute and monitor the SCM project portfolio, from business case to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Drive continuous improvement by aligning systems, processes, and data with business needs.
Ensure governance, budget control, and risk management across SCM-related IT initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across Nutreco to deliver value through digital transformation in QA.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience managing teams (10+ FTEs), including coaching and development
Profound knowledge of Program or Project Management, Change Management, as well as Application architecture
Deep understanding of SCM processes, ERP systems, and their integration with other systems
Strong communication skills in English.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2, or PMP), ITIL, and business process architecture preferred
What We Offer
This position can be held in any country, with a strong preference for candidates located in or near the Central European (Summer) Timezone (UTC+1/UTC+2). The role requires frequent international travel—approximately 25% of the time, with the remainder of the work conducted remotely from home. Benefits will vary depending on the country of residence.
