As a Procurement Project manager you will prepare and implement projects in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing. You will be responsible for End-to-End management of a project to develop a product, technology, system, solutions, services or IT solution: from the initial start until the introduction in the Market or until internal company delivery. You are responsible for gaining agreements on and achieving project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality and requirements. Ensuring effective introduction of products, technologies, systems, solution or services. You will manage the scope and requirements, manage the internal and external stakeholders. Managing the business case and being a business partner who is focused on maximization of the added value for the business is an important part of the role. All of this leveraging your knowledge of Artificial intelligence and digitalization.
You will manage projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives and determines project risks, defines corrective action and drives the projects to closure.
The Procurement Project Manager determines, allocates, and directs all project resources in accordance with guidelines and keeps abreast of developments in project management tools and processes (both internal and external). You will also ensure Sector-wide compliance to corporate policies/rules/procedures.
You are responsible for
Driving digitalization and machine learning for market intelligence & competitive intelligence specific scope.
Working in close co-operation with procurement digital team to identify opportunities for automation of procurement tools
Identify and execute opportunities of improvement in procurement risk management domain.
Implementation and realization according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization.
Representing the (sub)-project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectiveness.
Reporting on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project members.
Ensuring that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.
You are a part of
the Risk, M&A, MI & Procurement control team and will report directly into the Procurement Strategy Leader.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
MS degree in a relevant technical discipline
BS degree and > 5 years of relevant working experience
Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Specific knowledge of technical engineering in the relevant technical discipline for the application or specific functional knowledge in the relevant functional discipline
Proactive
Self-starter, getting things done
Broad knowledge of planning methods, and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/ functional discipline
people that realize the importance of EQ and can show that they have used this to be successful.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
